SINTEF Energy Research is a research performer focusing on energy provision throughout the energy chain and has a leading position as an RTD provider in energy processes, gas technology, thermo- and fluid dynamics, combustion and thermo-chemical conversion processes. SINTEF has through the years been involved in and led several large national and international research projects and centres. Achieving technology breakthroughs which enable efficient energy use is crucial in obtaining reduced energy consumption and reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). In FrostWave SINTEF will focus on how to implement novel concepts for drying/dewatering of raw materials and energy efficient processing on the other side. SINTEF has a well recognized basis of competence and scientific infrastructure in order to facilitate such a technology implementation programme.
