Development of novel microwave-assisted freeze-drying unit combined with natural working fluid-based refrigeration system for agriculture and marine foods
Research in the FrostWave Project is both basic as well as applied and of R&D type. The industrial research concerns both the currently used lyophilizers and the modified structures proposed in the project.
Substantial part of the research in the project requires experiments and measurements carried out using modern measuring equipment. More detailed information on the measurements carried out in the project can be found on the EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH subpage.
An equally important part of the research in the project is developing advanced computational models of the processes, runing computer simulations and designing new solutions. So it is a whole range of R & D activities. More detailed information about these activities can be found on the NUMERICAL RESEARCH subpage.
